Financial Assistance

The United Capital City Soccer Club is committed to providing youth soccer activities to every eligible player who wishes to participate, regardless of financial or economic status. UCC provides a limited amount of financial aid to children whose families are unable to pay the full cost of registration and/or competition fees. 

The Board of Directors considers applications for financial assistance on an individual basis and takes into consideration family size, financial need, and number of children playing for UCC when making decisions.


Scholarship Amounts

Half Scholarship: 

  • Half of Club Registration Fee is waived
  • Half of Club Competition Fee (league/tournament fees) is waived. 
  • Family responsible for uniform.

Full Scholarship:

  • Club Registration Fee Waiver
  • Competition Fees (league/tournament) Waiver 
  • Family responsible for uniform.

Financial assistance does not cover player equipment, travel or other player/team expenses.


Requirements

  • A 10 minute interview with the UCC Board of Directors must be completed by June 30 every year.
  • If approved, the player and/or parent/guardian will agree to provide up to 10 hours per season of volunteer work to the club, e.g. tournaments, tryouts, equipment check in/out, fundraiser distribution, etc.

  • It will be the responsibility of the club to be flexible and accommodating to help families meet this requirement by providing options about types and dates of work.

  • Applicants who do not complete requested volunteer service maybe ineligible for future aid awards.
